CURRENT MISSION To heal the world with music, laughter, and compassion. ABOUT ME I am very interested in the spectrum of human culture. I seek to participate in and learn to understand the experiences and issues of the people around me. I am working in New Orleans at a high school in the Upper Ninth Ward. I coordinate a tutoring program and lead after-school workshops in Hip Hop, Audio Production, and Songwriting. I grew up in the Twin Cities, Minnesota, but have traveled to South America and Europe. I got my B.A. in Ethnomusicology from the University of Minnesota in 2009. PHILOSOPHY I believe in a modified harm principle. People should be allowed to maintain their autonomy unless their actions are harmful to others. On the other side of the coin, people should not act in ways that are harmful to themselves, others, or their communities to prevent unnecessary oppression and suffering.
