PRO TIPS : - Fullfill your profile at 100%, answer all questions, give details, talk about yourself. - CS is not an hotel or accommodation system, so don't tell in your profile in 2 sentences "I'm here because I need a free host". It's not the way it works. - Make a profile verification (ID and Phone are almost mandatory) - Get requests (if you can, I know to get a first request you need someone to open their doors to you, that's why sometimes I get hosts without any requests, it's the game, but ty to get some from friends for example). - Send real messages, explain who you are, what you do, why and how you travel, with who etc. I get many messages like "Hey man can I stay at your place for the week ?" - If you don't travel alone, give details about who you're coming with ! They're as much as important as you ! - Put photos of you (and the people you're travelling with if relevant) on your profile ! It's not about dating or so, it's just that it's always nice to know what people you're going to host looks like. - If you can, try to host first.
