CURRENT MISSION To make the world a smaller place. ABOUT ME Love the outdoors. Moved to Bend to ski, snowboard, roadbike, mountainbike, paddle, hike, run, adventure race and have become kind of addicted to sand volleyball... but I am not really an expert at any of these pursuits. I love to travel (50 countries and 49 states), and used to do it a lot, but kind of got out of the habit. I’m back at it except for a Covid break. Now I spend December through March in Bariloche Argentina.🇦🇷 PHILOSOPHY To try to be a good person (sometimes it works) and still have fun.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING Have hosted a few times now. I have surfed once, and have met for a few drinks. Hosted a local CS gathering in Bend a few years ago. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE Nothing organized, have stayed with friends while traveling, and vice-versa. Random couchsurfing on a bike trip through Lompoc California while walking our bikes in the rain when a wonderful woman stopped to ask if we needed help, and from a couple we met at a bar in Vancouver Canada.

Bungee jumping in NZ and Canada. Burning Man (3X). Flew through the Alps in a small plane with a former CS’er and even got to fly the plane (or at least I felt in control).
