CURRENT MISSION enjoy every minute ABOUT ME I suppose I think 'out of the box' but I expect so does everyone who'd be a member of a site like this! I'm a mum to 5 children, and have granchildren too, but I often have the house to myself as the children who still live at home, board in school. I'm a recent immigrant to London and love the city and I learn so much more about it from the people who visit here. PHILOSOPHY All the cliché's, life isn't a rehearsal, you're a long time dead etc.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I host a little, surf a little less, I love the principle :) COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE Apart from crashing at friends when it got late, my only previous experience was staying with a couple who had spare rooms when I couldn't get into my accommodation on my first day of arrival. It was all arranged through email, they were a great couple we shared Chinese food and I found out about his Beer Mat collection. Thanks Geoff and Sue.

I'm constantly learning and open to new ideas. Happy to impart any of my particular skills. I'm pretty good at cooking, especially preserves. I do a mean corn removal, and I'm a bit of a geek and can usually sort out a PC.
