HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING So far I've mostly been a surfer - I used CS when I went on tour with my documentary for about two and a half weeks and met a lot of incredible people, and I've also met couchsurfing friends in Costa Rica, Mexico, Bolivia and Peru. I hosted once in Lima, finally. I finally have a house in Portland so I'm able to start hosting finally! COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE It's really not about staying for free anywhere in the world, though that is a bonus. It's about the people, the community of like-minded folks. Met great people in several US states, Mexico, Peru, Costa Rica, India, China.
