Also spent the better part of a week living in the woods outside Homer, Alaska surrounded by bear, a glacial river, miles and miles of lichen fields and friends and family. 2009. I scampered across a few miles of the Great Wall of China or as the locals call it: Changcheng. Bumper-boated the flood plains of the yellow river. Ate tons of amazing food! And made tons of amazing friends! 2007: Sailed amidst the British Virgin Islands, visited the Baths National Park in Virgin Gorda, ate a fresh sea lobster, stared down a barracuda, snorkeled with jellyfish over a coral reef and hyperventilated when I swam off the reef and peered into the maw of the oceanic abyss. 8-o 2006: Saw Hop Along and the Screaming Females in someone's living room in Pennsylvania and got intoxicated by voices.
