HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING All the positif reactions made me curios and why don't I give it a try...? traveling is not about visiting as much places as possible but to meet al kind of people and to come in contact with them. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I regret I didn't know about CS earlier after all my traveling in the past! After I became a member I had my first CS-experience very soon. Mother and daughter came for 2 days (who will ever come to my litle village...?)it was a great experience I met very nice people and learnt more about there habits, way of life...yes, I wanne do this more. Great how I meet people just for a coffee and hear their story's

Don't go out to dance but a good movie on TV, under a blanket, with something to drink/eat...I like it. Most of all I like music from the 70-80's. and sing/scream loud with them.... Phill Collings is one of my favorites! I like nice photobooks from nature/wildlife/ Africa/ Himalaya.

In a mokoro in the Okavangodelta in Botswana, a bikeholiday in de delta of Vietnam,just great! In Rajasthan India following a cooking course by a local family where the kitchen was 2 by 2 so how must 4 big people fit there? we had a lot of fun....!! 6 weeks in a overlandtruck traveling from Nairobi to Capetown, always camping Spitzkoppe in Namibia, what a nature! a funeral-ceremonie in Tana Toraja in Sulawesi.

I want to learn, see, feel, tast, discover... you don't need a lot of material things to be happy, to see the beauty of simple things gives me more satisfaction. I like recycling and give things a second live, my house is full of that kind of stuff.

I can give them information If they want to discover things on their own. If they like company I'm happy to show them nice things. If you stay in my litle village than you wil see, feel how we live, what we do, the normal live of every day. I have a big garden, if you have green fingers, we can work together in it. If you have questions about anything... I'm happy to give an answer to them.

I like traveling and discover the world from short weekends to 6 weeks by overlandtruck... Life is to short to stay in one place. But if I don't travel, I enjoy working in my garden. I'm a big fan of secondhand-shops, give old furnitures a new live. I'm crazy of small hyppo's in all kind of material (in the past I had a real hyppo grazing near my tent in Kenia) it was so impressive and scary, since then I started to collect them.
