I had a teacher ask me once what my parents fed us because my siblings are all the same way. I come from a family with a very positive outlook on life and are looking for others with the same. I moved to Mexico City in Sept. 2014 to complete a Fulbright Fellowship and search for the world's tastiest handmande tortilla. My Fulbright ended in June and I am traveling for the month of July before returning to Mexico in August to start a new job at Uber. HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I'm excited to meet a whole bunch of open, interesting, fun-loving people through couch surfing. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I've surfed in Austin, TX, met up with some cool couch surfers in Buenos Aires, and surfed with a friend in Bogota. I would like to attend events in Mexico City soon.

I love magical realism, mysteries, and dramas. Isabel Allende is my favorite author, but my favorite books of all time include The Picture of Dorian Grey and The Unbearable Lightness of Being. I've got a black belt in taekwondo that I am proud of. My whole family (3 siblings and Mom) did it together.

I love dancing. This comes in handy to meet new people! Ever culture has their dance. Salsa, merengue, bachata, waltz, swing, hustle etc etc, but also popping, house, and general getting down! I love to read. Everyone is made up of stories. They shape who we are and who we want to be. I love a good story...the type where you miss the characters when you are done reading it. Or the type that helps you understand someone more. I love being active. That way I can eat more tortillas haha I like working out, running races (ran my first full 46km marathon in March), and taking classes like capoeria. I like sewing. Making your own clothes or customizing clothes you buy at a store feels really good. Its nice to create something.
