PHILOSOPHY Our time on Earth is only a very small portion of our beings, and though it may not be the best stage of it, it certainly is the most important phase of it. "The sole purpose of life is to serve humanity"; I believe that true happiness is not affected by any outside circumstances and it is achieved by ceasing the pursuit of self gratification, and seizing each opportunity to act kind and selfless. Kindness does signify respect; respect was invented to fill the space where love should be, and true love is rare and it is only real when one's acts of goodness are completely unrelated to its cause and effects; doing something for others because something was done for you, or so that others will do something for you, is egoism, not kindness. You are what you think, acting in a way that does not correspond to your thoughts is hypocritical, if you want to change who you are you must not attempt to change what you do or say, you must change how you think. Don't judge, not so you won't be judged, but because true righteousness lives in one's heart and not in what is visible to the world. I could keep going, but I'm sure you've had enough...
