HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING Since becoming a CS member, I've hosted dozens of surfers, and I've met incredible, lifelong friends through my experiences with CS. It's changed how I travel and how I see the places I visit. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE My guests have all been wonderful! They have so many great stories to share about themselves and their life experiences. My hosts have been equally wonderful; the kindest, most generous people I've met in my life. I treasure my CS friendships to an enormous degree.

music-I have the most random assortment of music on the planet; rock, new wave, motown, show tunes, jazz, blues, indie rock, alternative, oldies, Spanish, reggaeton, classical, world, punk, etc. I'm always open to new music suggestions movies-whatever makes me laugh books-ones that aren't overly pretentious. I'm not ashamed to admit that one of my favorite books ever was written by Judy Blume. I'm a big fan of Beat Generation stuff, especially "On the Road" by Jack Kerouac; big surprise, given my love for traveling and being on the road.
