CURRENT MISSION (Explore the world) Get settled ABOUT ME I am an easygoing person who loves to get to know the world around. I love to understand other ways of thinking and share the experience of life. Barbora, my (girlfriend) wife [2015 update], is easygoing as well and she is very nice with people. She always tries to find out the good side of every person. We are both from the same city in Slovakia. We have studied university in Prague, Czech Republic, where we have spent a couple of last years. During the last years of our studies, we started working there, me in the IT industry, and Barbora was working for the Prague city council. After we both got our diplomas, my company offered me a relocation to France. So since 2014, we live in La Ciotat and I try to catch up with my french, as Barbora already speaks fluently. PHILOSOPHY Be nice to others, others will be nice to you.

Dlaczego jestem na Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE All of my CS experience was positive so far. I like the fact, that it does not matter from what culture/background a person come from, you can have a great time together even through all the differences.
Muzyka, filmy i książki
I used to watch movies quite a lot, but recently I started to be more picky. The action/adventure ones are the best, but I also tend to like European movies of almost any sort. I don't have much time to read books (unrelated to my occupation), although I want to. The problem is that when I start reading, I cannot stop, even if I try. I can read anything starting with Harry Potter, through Dan Brown, to Franz Kafka. I also like more modern Slovak literature, it's a pity its not being translated..
Jedna niesamowita rzecz, którą zrobiłem/am
Northern Lights at the Arctic Circle, riding a reindeer, kite-surfing at the Wales coast, hiking in the Caucasus mountains, having a dinner in the Saudi desert, boat trips between the HK islands, Ramadan evenings in Tehran's parks..., and want more !

Moje zainteresowania
Sports and travel. I swim quite a lot, I play squash regularly and I love cycling to which I also try to persuade Barbora. I used to cycle on a road bike to school in England, but mountain cycling ( with a lot of mud around ) is probably my favourite. I have also started doing kite-surfing, but I am still just a beginner, so no high jumps yet and probably not in the close future either.
