HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I'm working on this part... I'd love to host people. Hopefully next year I'll have an apartment somewhere with a real couch you can stay on, but for now, it's just me and my room-- I'm more than willing to give up my bed for someone traveling through. My floor is also available at any time and I have blankets, pillows and a sleeping bag. I'd be happy to point you in the direction of some fun things to do in Northampton/at Smith College, and willing to accompany you if I'm not too busy.
