CURRENT MISSION To explore the known universe ABOUT ME I'm an explorer, and I love trying new things, meeting new people, and changing my perspective. HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING When I'm at home, I'm happy to offer a couch to surf. When I'm surfing, I try to contribute and be very grateful for the opportunity to get know a place through a local. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I'm new to couch surfing, but I hear good things from friends who use CS. I inadvertently became a host by meeting a German couchsurfer that was staying in a nearby campground and offering a couch. I then visited that couchsurfer in Germany! Now I'm traveling in Europe and looking to experience more from the people who live here!

In terms of music, I like anything new. I listen to a lot of indie music. It just needs to sound different! For books, I like non-fiction mostly. Anything that reads well and has a lot to teach me. For movies, I'm a sucker for a good comedy or action movie!

Most of my best and most memorable moments have been on top of mountains. I've climbed them all over the world and in my backyard. Being from Montana, I always liked hiking and backpacking, but climbing Kilimanjaro took everything to the next level. I made it to the summit with my dad, one of the best experiences of my life. Shortly after, I attempted Denali. The three weeks I spent in Alaska living and climbing a glacier were the best and worst life has ever been. Now I'm in Colorado, hiking to my heart's content in the high country.

I have lots of things to teach I suppose! I guess the easiest thing for me to talk about are business, the outdoors, and even sleep (I worked in a sleep research lab.)
