CURRENT MISSION Making it through December ABOUT ME I'm working in France as a part-time English teacher. Though I teach in St.Etienne, I live in Lyon and benefit each day from all that it has to offer. Unfortunately my apartment is a very small studio, so though I would love to, I am unable to "host" people in a comfortable manner. I have many things I hope to do during my time in France, but above all I hope to meet great people and enjoy each day to the fullest. PHILOSOPHY When was the last time that you did something for the first time?

Dlaczego jestem na Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I only recently learned about this project from my contacts in France. I think it has enormous potential. I can't think of a better way to see the world than one couch at a time! COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I am a complete novice, though my experience thus far with couchsurfers leads me to believe that the CS community is a very special one!
Muzyka, filmy i książki
Films: My intersts span anything from On The Waterfront to Kill Bill, or Toy Story... I would love to learn more about films from other countries. Books: Again, I have a wide interest in reading spanning anything from the poetry of Billy Collins, to twentieth century French Literature, and authors like Balzac, Flaubert, Albert Camus, or even Malcolm Gladwell. I enjoy the study of Literature, but I also love to read about History and Sociology. Radio: One of my favorite sources of information and entertainment... I love public radio! NPR, WNYC, Let's Talk about Faith, This American Life, Wait Wait Don't Tell Me, Fresh Air. In the car, on my laptop, or downloaded on my ipod, it's always a good idea to listen to NPR! I like France Inter Podcasts too, especially for my train rides to work.
