ABOUT ME I'm a graduate student at the University of British Columbia (I used to study at the University of California Santa Cruz). I've studied marine biology, marine ecology and evolutionary ecology in Belize, Ecuador, the Galapagos, and Micronesia. I'm originally from the Washington, D.C. area, and I've been an environmental and social justice activist since circa 2006 (focusing particularly on ocean conservation and drug policy issues). In addition to all that, I'm also a mom, writer, feminist, music enthusiast and adventurer!
