HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING Hosted a few people in Sydney and made a few couchsurfing friends before starting my big overseas trip. Stayed with a couchsurfer in Sweden (who I met in Sydney), and stayed on some friends' couches in Copenhagen and Zürich. Also hosted a bunch of couchsurfers in Kota Kinabalu, Borneo, Malaysia :-) COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE It wasn't couchsurfing, but in Salta, Argentina I grouped up with a Spanish, an English, and a German guy and a Brazilian girl who I'd met the night before and we hired a car and went road-tripping through Northern Argentina. Was a great way to see some sites I wouldn't have otherwise seen with great company. I went to Roskilde Festival with a Danish friend that I met scuba diving in Australia - awesome! My first couch surfing experience was in Vienna and it was like meeting a long lost best friend. Stayed with some other travellers in Sweden and Germany.

I watch a lot of movies and listen to a lot of music. Music - electronic, rock, hip-hop, and basically everything else. Movies - anything that isn't painfully corny. Intelligent artsy movies. Guilty pleasures. Stuff that makes me laugh.
