CURRENT MISSION 2025 has been an adventure of good and bad. Currently setting up a new forever home in Portugal and will host soon..... Strange to stay one place for a long time as I've been 30+ years in the road. My mum passed in 2025, and life went on hold for a bit.. Getting ready to flee the cold EU winters to SEA, (actually in Indonesia as I do an update),but looking forward to 2026 . Just finished the olive harvest and got 85+ liters of virgin, fresh olive Oil .. Next year will be gardens, travel, swimming and living on the finca..... 2024 was a great time traveling by motorcycle in Africa, about 10000km, doing Namibia, ZA, Mozambique, Lesotho, and Eswatini on a 150 cc Bajaj Boxer....May and June through the Northern Vietnam Ha Giang loop, then working in Thailand taking care of some villlas.. Finished the year on a Oaxacan beach in Mexico Have fun in Life...Life is for living, not sitting in a chair ABOUT ME Been on the road for 30 years . Trying to dive and experience the world, so spend a lot of time in far away places, on land and underwater, both fun diving and teaching. If not wet, I'm up in the mountains climbing, hiking, or just hanging out. Enjoy physical activities, long distance swimming, walking, and anything outdoors, but also very professional at doing "nothing. " . Love to cook Thai and usually carry pastes to cook up a curry I grew up in California, with a few passports due to family background. I don't have Germany citizenship, but have residency in Germany. I have done 15+ seasons of diving in Sharm el sheikh, starting in '98 but they s is coming to an end... Last two years plus has been dives, dives and dives, and a whole lotta fun. IF there was a world passport, I would be first in line. I am sort of a wandering, nomadic, professional, semi retired, story telling dive bum..... aka: homeless!!! Most of the time, I love it like this. Update!!!: Now a retired, aging, diving, travelling bum with a Portugal home!!
