It all started when me and 5 of my friends drank 16 (sic!!) bottles of wine and bought cheap flight tickets to Italy... couchsurfing at first was just a way to travel for free, but quickly became my favorite way of traveling. I honestly have never had a “bad experience “ with anyone in my life (really, not just with couchsurfing but in general, I’m extremely lucky) so why not take advantage of that and meet as many people as possible.
