I'm Alena, 25, and I've pretty much been changing places all my life. I grew up in Germany and the USA, went to school in France for a while, volunteered for a year in an NGO in New Delhi before college, and studied in The Netherlands and Egypt. Now I'm working for a human rights NGO - low pay, few holidays, but meaningful work! If you meet me, prepare to be overtowered by my 6 foot height that I give cynical comments about, but also prepare for honest debates about feminism, sustainability, and whatever else crosses my mind.

Dlaczego jestem na Couchsurfing
When I lived in Delhi for a year, I discovered backpacking and my co-volunteer and flatmate got me into CS. We travelled together, so I used her account quite a lot. We had amazing experiences, mind-opening conversations and great evenings with the hosts we stayed at, and I didn't want to miss that once my co-volunteer and I parted ways.

The Beatles forever!
Jedna niesamowita rzecz, którą zrobiłem/am
When I lived in Cairo, I bought a scooter to drive around town AND manoeuvred through the bureaucracy to sell it again 🤗
Ucz, Ucz się, Dziel się
Let's not expect to learn from each other. But maybe get inspired. Who knows? I can actually speak or am learning the languages I claim to speak on this profile, so languages are always a good place to start!
Co mogę zaoferować Hostom
I bake good cakes, live cheap, and can offer good mood. Need little care, so you can involve me in your life as much or little as you want!
Moje zainteresowania
I am an extrovert who likes deep and meaningful talks. Although I sometimes enjoy a glass of wine, I am much more of a tea-drinker. Please don't ask me to go clubbing with you, a movie, landscape, cultural heritage or a good book are much nicer.
