Latvian by passport, traveler by heart. Currently living in Montenegro, working as an adventure tour guide. Prior to that, I worked in UK for almost a year working as an outdoor instructor in an outdoor activity center for kids and spent 2 years in Croatia doing a long-term volunteering work as well as working as an outdoor instructor and adventure tour guide. Apart from that, I'm also quite involved in youth work, working as a trainer with young people, outdoor education and different self-development methods. Team dogs. :)

Dlaczego jestem na Couchsurfing
The best experiences when visiting a new place always comes from meeting others. Hearing stories about the place, culture and people brings a whole new perspective and inspires. Unfortunately currently I'm not able to host people as I live in an outdoor center where I work, but looking forward to host couchsurfers when I finally get a place of my own. :)

I can share my experiences on travelling on budget as well as different volunteering opportunities world wise (did my thesis on volunteering tourism). Have a bit of experience in outdoor living, adventure education methods, organising youth projects and trainings, working with groups.

Travelling and living abroad for longer periods of time has definitely made a big impact on my life and the way how I see things. I've definitely got a bit of that wanderlust thing going on. Love to meet new people and exchange adventure stories and experiences with them. Another passion of mine - cooking, mostly combined with listening some good music and singing in the kitchen. Besides things mentioned above - a big nature lover. Love different kinds of outdoor activities and exploring new places.
