Swing dancing, Lindy especially, is one of the ways I feel most like myself. Nature. The wilder the better. I can survive in the city, but to thrive I must be intimate with the clouds, the wind roaring in red canyons, the trickle seeping out of a fern flocked hillside, the brilliant yellow of the aspens, green of rainforest moss, hoarfrost mud, tiny lichen forests on old fences, and on and on...
