I'm a recent Genetics BSc graduate now working on plant genetics in the East of England, doing that sweet DNA work on crops 🌾 I'm queer, nonbinary, and a bit anxious! Really though, I'm quite a relaxed person and love both chill hangs with a cider or a night partying.

Never quite grew out of the pop-punk phase - Fall Out Boy, Paramore, and Panic! at the Disco, but now also a fan of indie pop like Lorde, Lucius, and Hozier plus stuff like The Front Bottoms, Wolf Alice, and Marmozets. Fantasy, YA, and Sci-fi (according to Goodreads) are my most read genres, currently reading Robin Hobb!

I've no hope with languages but would love to give learning one a shot! I know a bit about plants but I let iNaturalist do most of the identification work to be honest 😅
