I grew up in the states but have spent an extensive amount of time in Nicaragua over the last 10 years. I've studied abroad in Costa Rica 2 times and traveled to Colombia to play Ultimate and host teaching clinics. During my time in Nicaragua I have done many different things. I've worked with mission teams, NGOs, organized medical clinics, started sports teams, done construction, etc. Nicaragua has taught me and blessed me so much. I truly consider it my home. Currently I am living in Nicaragua working as the Executive Director of Breaking Borders, which is a 501c3 tax exempt org based out of Florida. I am in Nicaragua to help develop our Nica Project. The Nica project consists of using Ultimate (Frisbee) as a tool for character development in youth. Our main focus is equipping youth with necessary leadership skills for future jobs, relationship, and life.
