I am a veterinarian and animal enthusiast. I consider myself a dog person, but I have more cats than dogs. I have a dream job where I get to be surrounded by adorable dogs and cats every day. The only challenging aspect is that my expertise lies in small animal oncology. I often deal with life-and-death issues, and I personally experienced the loss of my own cat to cancer in 2022. Despite the emotional challenges, I still love my job because I find fulfillment in helping others navigate through the toughest moments in their pets' lives. My five-year goal is to pursue specialized veterinary training in the United States and then bring back the knowledge to Taiwan. I am a certified guide runner for the visually impaired. I accompany visually impaired runners during regular jogging sessions as well as participate in races. Additionally, I am involved in the development and promotion of adaptive sports for individuals with disabilities, such as tandem cycling for the visually impaired.
