I am new to the couch surfing world, but I have heard many good things. I enjoy traveling and meeting new people and it seems couch surfing is a perfect way to do that!

Back in November, I volunteered and taught English in Peru. It was one of the most challenging, yet fulfilling experiences. It was heartbreaking seeing the home lives of the students and the lack of resources in the schools. Even though I was only there for a month, I know that my limited time made a huge impact on the students. I realized how the little things, like giving out pencils, meant the world to them. Honestly, I do not necessarily view this as something "amazing" that I have done because giving back is something that I believe everyone should do. I am more grateful for being given the opportunity to work at the schools in Peru.
