I'm travelling around part of South America with a friend, through Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, Peru and hopefully then Ecuador and Colombia. We're both English, in our 20s, and have decided to take time off from working to travel and see some different countries. I'm new to couchsurfing, I've had a profile for a while but haven't actually ever tried it before. I've heard great things and I'm really keen to meet new people and find some great accommodation in the various places I'll visit.
