I'm on Couchsurfing because I think it's a very good way to meet new people and I also enjoy low-budget-travelling because it's more adventurous. If I could choose between a hotel and a tent I would always go for the tent, I also tried some hitchhiking in Ireland and Iceland which was a very positive experience also. As I am still doing an education I couldn't really afford travelling in any other way but that's nothing to worry about cause I wouldn't want it any other way anyway. :)
