- once a year, go someplace you've never been before - I have taken this quote quite seriously and decided to quit my job to travel to all the great places I have been wanting to go to for so long. So here I am, 5 months into my travel and still no regrets about this decision. I started in March in Brazil and have had an amazing time in South America. Now I am off to the States for a while before heading to New Zealand. I have done many awesome things so far, but Couchsurfing is still on the list. I would love to stay at places with locals to experience the "real thing" and best case make some new friends. About me: I guess if you ask my friends they would say: I am a fun person to hang around and do fun stuff with, like to drink (hey, I am German so of course I love drinking), love being with people but also being on my own sometimes, quite "neutral" when having to make decisions that are not "life important", hate drama, love having a good laugh, love sarcasm... It would be cool to have you as part of my travel story and make some great memories and maybe even friends.
