I'm interested in the people and community that form the quirks, character and personality of a place. By sharing a meal with a local, or listening to stories told organically over a drink; when I allow myself to be open and vulnerable, I find that new possibilities will also open up to me. Ultimately, I care about the connections and bonds that I create in my travels; being a Couchsurfer facilitates that connection to happen.

I'm not sure if I'm qualified enough to teach anything, but I'm always down for sharing a good story from 9 years of living abroad, and can attempt to whip up a good meal of simple Chinese dish. I like to send postcards, and am always keen to exchange message the old fashioned way.
