Hi, my name is Kai. I'm traveling Europe to write a book about the current situation of the continent (political, cultural, emotional). I want to see the different areas and I'd like to gain knowledge about cultural identity in relation to current discurses about European topics. About myself: I grew up in a hilly area in central Germany and learned to appreciate the countryside as well as all kinds of outdoor sports. I studied religion and culture in the past three years and also worked as a university teacher. I love to travel and to explore the world and its cultures. I enjoy talking to people and I am interested in contact to diverse demographics because I think we all can learn from each other. Something important for people who want to stay with me: I receive a lot of requests and I’m bored by COPY AND PASTE TEXTS. Therefore I ignore them. So be creative to convince me to host you.

Dlaczego jestem na Couchsurfing
A friend told me: "When you're travelling you should travel so as if you'd never come back". That means you should be open for anything in the world you're entering. And nobody symbols a new world as much as locals do.
Muzyka, filmy i książki
My favourite music is currently relaxed, recently more electronic music maybe, but I'm pretty open for anything. I love thrillers and movies that really catch you. E.g. "Inception", "Batman","A time to kill" or "Seven". But I also like all kind of Disney movies. My favourite book is Hyperion by Friedrich Hoelderlin. I love Rilke‘s poem and all kinf of classic wisdom and philosophy.
