ABOUT ME when not living my nomadic life and during sporadic intervals of sobriety, i work as a lawyer, getting criminals out of jail and, consequently, making the streets of cebu city safer. i grew up in a small town near the beach. i think i may have learned to swim even before i could read. i have great friends who you will most likely meet if i host you in cebu city. i drink beer (and other alcoholic beverages) and prefer hosting those who do too. i try my best not to judge those who don’t, but i will make fun of them for sure, including vegetarians.

my favorite movies include the shawshank redemption, good will hunting, stand by me, dead poets society, swing kids, among others. i do not have a sophisticated taste for music. air supply ruined my childhood and the rest of my life.

i quit my job as a senior associate in one of the biggest law firms in the philippines and backpacked in europe for 3 months. i've been going back every year for the last 6 years.

as you can tell, i love to travel. while i check out the obligatory places to see, i spend more time meeting the people, eating food and drinking the local beers. i like checking out local markets, they are the perfect place to gain an understanding of the people. and for some reason, i like windows.
