Hey I'm Lauren and I'm a 32?year old teacher and I am interested in traveling the world! Originally from just outside of Boston, MA but currently live in Kailua-Kona, HI aka The Big Island! I am very laid back, sarcastic, kind, passionate, and organized. The travel bug hit 10 years ago when I had the opportunity to go to Kenya through a college program. Since then I’ve returned there 2 more times and did two separate backpacking trips in Europe visiting Ireland, France, Spain, Italy, Croatia, Hungary, Austria, Czech Republic, Germany, The Netherlands, UK, Belgium, Switzerland, Denmark, Sweden, Norway. While COVID vaulted my travel since moving to Big Island of Hawaii in July 2019, I have luckily been able to explore the islands of Oahu and Maui (so far!)

Dlaczego jestem na Couchsurfing
I couch- surfed in Paris during my 2015 backpacking trip and was so pleasantly surprised how amazing the experience! My host was awesome and while she had her own life going on with work, she kindly took the time to show me around some neighborhoods and a few places I never would have found on my own! Travel as the locals love :-)
Muzyka, filmy i książki
Taylor Swift and country music but like pretty much everything except heavy metal. I am a major movie buff so there are far too many to name to pick a favorite. I love books by Jodi Picoult as well as the Hunger Games but down for any book recommendations!
Jedna niesamowita rzecz, którą zrobiłem/am
Went to Kenya on my own for five weeks volunteering at a children's home for children infected and affected by HIV
Ucz, Ucz się, Dziel się
I am a first grade teacher so it is hardwired into my personality to be fascinated with new things and wanting to learn more as well as sharing and teaching what I know with others!
Moje zainteresowania
Traveling, reading, hiking, surfing, scrapbooking and other crafty projects, too much to name!
