Hey there :) I'm Leonie, 25 years of age and originally from Hanover, northern Germany. I finished my Bachelors in Mannheim, having studied culture and language and business administration, and am currently doing my Master's degree in Lisbon. Dlaczego jestem na Couchsurfing
As probably most people who do couchsurfing, I love getting to know different countries and people and their cultures, languages, habits, stories and ways of living. And I think that the best way to get to know a new place and its people is by crushing on their couch and spending some quality time with them! So far, my couchsurf experiences (mainly in Italy) have been really great and I met some very interesting, funny and welcoming people and got to know the pace where I stayed as best as I could wish for. I am looking forward to many more of such awsome experiences :)

I've done a volunteer service in Mozambique for half a year and it was the best experience abroad so far. I've lived in a host family and bonded especially with my wonderful host mom Mercia, to whom I am still very close. I loved to get to know a completely different culture and was so stunned by the hospitality, warmth, kindness and openess of the Mozambican people.

I am very curious about languages and am always keen to learn new stuff! If anyone wants to learn a bit of German (though I cannot imagine why :D), I would, of course, also be happy to teach him/her some words :)

I love cooking (alone or with others) and am always very keen to get to know new recipes from different countries! I like to go out and dance and meet new people and I am very interested in cultures and languages and always ready to learn something new or teach someone in return!
