Heya! I’m Lexi from Wisconsin. I’m currently on a work and holiday visa in Australia. I’ve just spent the last 6 months working hospo in Darwin and now I’m traveling down the east coast solo! I backpacked around Europe and India last year and Australia was up next on my list! I have experience couchsurfing as I did it throughout India last year, however it was all done via another friends’ profile and that’s why I don’t have any references of my own.

Dlaczego jestem na Couchsurfing
I’m on Couchsurfing to meet friends and make connections! It’s really important to me that the person hosting wants to hang out.. even just for a meal! I would love to meet other fellow backpackers, but what I’m really chasing after is meeting Australian locals. Seeing as I’m now living in Australia, I would love to make connections with people who are from here and can show me the “true blue” Aussie way of life. I’ve been addicted to the Australian way of life and no worries attitude ever since I made my first Australian friend while traveling in Finland!

I tend to listen to a lot of Aussie and British alternative music but I’d love to swap music suggestions and am always down for a live gig!! I don’t read as often as I’d like to, but if I do it’ll most likely be from the historical fiction genre. I love watching movies. I’m currently trying to up my pop- culture knowledge and knock out more of the oddball classics.. Always keen for a movie recommendation.

I won’t lie, I’ve never been known for having mad cooking skills. I can however make some weird hodgepodge of Tex Mex and I can cook up a MEAN brekkie at any time of day. We’ll probably along better if you do the cooking and I do the washing up! ;) I’m open to learning anything you can teach me! And maybe I’ll even show you my uncanny goat noise :D
