To meet people.

1. One moment that left me awestruck was I was running on a pilgrimage across the state of New Mexico, attempting 92 miles straight, My friend and I were running through all the Indian Reservations, while in one, we stopped into a little store looking for some food to buy, we where prompted to go the house next to the little store. We walked up to the modest house we were about to knock, looked in and saw a family of 6-7 about to sit down for breakfast. They saw us at the screen door and the grandmother stood up and the first thing out of her mouth as she stood up was "Come in, sit down, eat with us" I will never forget this. We ate breakfast with them, filled our bellies and our soul, and set out to run another 60 miles. This left me awestruck, because her first reaction was come in....eat. Not "Who are you, what the heck do you want." Unbelievable. I have became friends with that family, and still go back to visit her:)
