My friend from Chicago introduced me to Couchsurfing as a platform to get to know the local people around the world. For me, traveling is not only for "touristy" itineraries but to experience on how to live in a place. At the end of the travel, there should be a connect with me and the place that I can remember in a lifetime. We only leave once, and we should maximize the experience of traveling. Also, I would like to get to know and to be friends to people which lives from different parts of the world: to learn the culture, experiences and specially the local food. The world is now getting smaller, who knows we can bump again some other time.
