HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I love travelling in general and I made my first experiences as a couchsurfer in Canada. After returning to Germany, I decided to open my home to surfers myself, and after I've been hosting surfers from all over the world since then, I can state that it was a good decision ;) COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE As a surfer, I have made couchsurfing experiences in Canada, Fiji and New Zealand so far. After I made a fantastic first experience in Calgary, I became hooked on more and I also enjoyed staying with the hosts I've had henceforward. I am entirely convinced of couchsurfing and I think it's just great! As a host, my experience increasingly grew in 2015 and 2016 and I was surprised by how many people from various countries wanted to stay in a village with 140 inhabitants ;) Having them stay at my home was very pleasant, so I'm looking forward to hosting more people!

I watch a lot of movies, mostly thrillers from Sweden, English-speaking countries or Germany. My favourite movies are Forrest Gump, Eddie the Eagle, Hunt for the wilderpeople, Soul Surfer, Cool Runnings and the Harry Potter series. I read quite a lot, especially thrillers written by Scandinavian authors like Jo Nesbo or Jussi Adler-Olsen. I enjoy reading books which are set in the Eifel as well. I like to listen to music by various musicians and bands. It's mainly music from the charts.
