Travel without human connection is meaningless-- what's the point of visiting a new place if you're viewing it from inside a bubble?

Too much to list in one place. Really love science fiction and fantasy, 19th century Russian literature, but you name it, I'll read it. Have been on a nonfiction/history kick lately. Always looking for book recommendations! Sang in a traditional Ukrainian village folk choir for two years, so I always love learning about local traditional music and singing :)
