I enjoy meeting people from different cultures and backgrounds and prefer hosting people I genuinely enjoy spending time with, both socially and personally. I ascribe this to growing up in Los Angeles and Buffalo- both places with a large and diverse immigrant community. I love learning about languages and other cultures and hearing about people’s lives and experiences from around the world. I’m a major cinephile and especially enjoy classic cinema, international films, museums, architecture, history, nature, and long conversations. I also enjoy discussing current affairs, gaming, manga, and similar interests — definitely a bit of a gaymer. I’m also an avid gardener and a rosarian in particular. Over the years I’ve grown and cared for more than 50 roses, and the English cottage garden aesthetic is probably my ideal. I’m vegetarian, curious about the world, and very open-minded. I also have two very friendly and clean cats. I’m gay and a nudist, and guests are encouraged to take part in the relaxed, open, and playful atmosphere that comes with that environment. I generally host people with a similar mindset and level of openness. The sleeping arrangement is a shared bed, so please be comfortable with close quarters and a very relaxed environment. If you’re conservative, very reserved, or uncomfortable around sexuality, I’m probably not the ideal host for you. I prefer surfers who actually want to spend time together rather than simply needing a free place to crash.
