-I'm travelling to Chicago with another friend late October to attend "Conversation: Chris Ware, Daniel Clowes, and Anton van Dalen on Saul Steinberg" at AIC and we would love to explore the city as well! -I drove with my friend from Chicago to Palo Alto. We didn't want to just zoom through the middle of the country, though. We stayed with hosts who showed us around and really made us appreciate parts of the country we'd never been to before. -I headed to Savannah at the beginning of August 2016 and stayed with hosts on Couchsurfing who were beyond delightful. Some of them stayed with me back in New York! -I went biking throughout New England with a friend from California at the end of last summer. Instead of just zipping through New Hampshire, Vermont, and Maine, we stayed by some of the friendliest couch surfers for a day or two and really got to know the surrounding area.
