I chose to become a member of couchsurfing because I wanted to possibly have an opportunity of staying in a local home sometime in the future If I am out travelling. I also though it would be cool to host other people. I am astonished with the amount of requests that I have got, unfortunately I cannot host yet because I am living at home and have not got a spare room!

Freedom by Jonathan Franzen, best book I have ever read. Corrections not too bad either. Love adventure books. Books like On the Road, authors along the likes of Jack London. What more could you want!
