I'm laid-back and easy to get along with, so I would love to make new friends through couchsurfing, but I won't expect my host to spend time with me or show me around unless they'd like to.. Recommendations are always wonderful though!

I love all forms of music and love seeing live music more than anything. I will always be willing to go to a concert, even if I've ever heard the artist. I don't watch many movies, but my favorites include The Life Aquatic, Pulp Fiction, Her, I Heart Huckabees, and the Royal Tenenbaums. I most enjoy documentaries (social/cultural, environmental, political.. Anything that will teach me something new!). I read a lot and most enjoy books that use a really raw writing style - like the narrator wrote things as they thought them, without filtering or editing. Shantaram is by far my favorite book and I recommend it for everyone (:
