ABOUT ME I graduated for a geography teacher but I have completely different interests. I am a web designer, photographer, videographer, English teacher and the most important, a passionate traveler. I started to travel at the age of 24 and until now I traveled in 76 countries and lived in 5. Always ready for action, going out, make people laugh with my stupid jokes. Most of the time people just roll their eyes, so you will probably do the same :) My travel experience: 2024/12 - 2025/06 - 6 months in Thailand and 1 month in Germany 2024. - 2 months - Italy, Switzerland, France, Belgium and Netherlands 2024/04 - 2 weeks - Tenerife and Gran Canaria 2022/11 - 2023/07 - 8 months - Thailand (5 months), Laos, South Korea, Japan and 1 month in Europe 2022. - 2 months - Ex-Yu, Italy, Austria and Switzerland 2021. - 1 and a half months - Greece, Italy, Czech Republic and Hungary 2019/2020. - 5 months - South America - Argentina, Uruguay, Chile, Bolivia and Peru 2018. - 3,5 months - Central America - from Colombia to Mexico and Cuba (10 countries) 2017. - 2 trips - 2 months in Turkey, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Russia and 3 weeks in West Europe 2016. - 2 trips - 3 months - Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Spain and Portugal 2015/2016. - 1 year - Teaching English in Chengdu (China) 2014/2015. - 7 months - Indonesia, Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam, China 2014. - 2 months - France, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Germany, Croatia 2012. - 2 trips - 6 months - 2 months in the USA; 4 months in Ukraine, Russia, Mongolia, China and Sri Lanka 2011. - 3 trips - 4,5 months - 2 months Central and Eastern Europe and 2,5 months in Southeast Asia 2010. - 3 trips - 4 months around Europe 2009. - 1 month around Europe. HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I host, travel, spread idea of CouchSurfing. I like to meet all kind of people. Today or tomorrow, when you come to Serbia or if I am in your city, let me know, and we can go out for a coffee, walk through the city, party,... COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I hosted more than 250 travelers from all parts of the world and being hosted more than 350 times while traveling. I lost counting long time ago, so the number is even bigger by now. I've been to many CS meetings around the world and met many great people with whom I am still friends nowadays. For me, CS is one of the best things that ever happened to me.

Electronic/instrumental music: Jean Michel Jarre, Yello, Kraftwerk, Tangerine Dream, Disco '80, Art of Noise, Klaus Schulze, Music Instructor, Robert Miles, Sanja Ilic and Balkanika, etc. I am a big fan of movies and I watched a couple thousands of movies. I like thrillers. My favorite movie since I was a kid is "Back to the Future", even I watched much better movies since then.

Everything I've done is amazing :) 2024 - Drove 11.250 km across Europe - from Serbia through Slovenia, Italy, Switzerland, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, and back to Serbia in 2 months. 2010-2019 - Hitchhiked in over 50 countries 2017 - Road trip by car with a friend, 14.000 kilometers in just 8 weeks 2017 - One bird committed a suicide because of me 2016 - Hitchhiked Pamir highway in Tajikistan. One truck, two days 2015 - Hitchhiked 2.000 km in 40 hours in China from Chengdu to Shanghai 2012 - Traveled by land 15.000 km in 3 months from Serbia through Ukraine, Russia, Mongolia and China to Hong Kong

Try to visit one of the summer music festivals in Serbia - Guča or EXIT. I strongly recommend the Guča Trumpet Festival in mid-August, because it's the kind of event you won’t find anywhere else. Do I like it? Not really. But I’ve been there twice, and I had fun. Many foreigners who’ve been there told me they loved it - it’s a unique experience, especially for someone who's not from the Balkans. I will quote one of people I met on CS: "I'm pretty good at travelling on a minimum budget, particularly as my favourite method of travel is hitch-hiking. Not only is it generally the cheapest way to go, but it means you get to meet interesting people, and see things you wouldn't otherwise get to see. It makes the journey just as important as the arriving, and gives you a completely different perspective from what you get when you just get on some train or bus and just twiddle your thumbs and wait to arrive at your destination." by Nomad Kat
