I joined because I'm going to be visiting California and London in June 2016 and want to get to know some locals and learn their favourite things to do in their cities!

Music: I love hip hop, RnB, and rap. Some of my favourites at the moment are Rihanna, Drake, Beyonce (who I'm going to see in London!), Frank Ocean, and Kendrick Lamar. I also have a love for rock and punk rock. Some of my favourite bands are Rise Against (who I saw live in SA in 2013 :D ), Incubus, Head Automatica, and He Is Legend. Some local music I really enjoy is 340ml (they're actually from Mozambique but are based in Johannesburg), and Manny Walters. Movies: I am a die hard Harry Potter fan! I'm planning on visiting the Harry Potter park at Universal in LA. I generally enjoy action and comedy films. Another favourite is What We Do In The Shadows. I love Chicago and lots of other musicals. Books: As I said, Harry Potter! I also enjoy Marian Keyes' books, and anything fantasy related. I love The Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare.
