Basically, I'm here because I love having people around. And of course, I want to sleep on your couches!

Music: Pink Floyd, The Doors, Led Zeppelin, Eric Clapton, Santana, Neil Young, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Bob Dylan, Mumford and Sons, Gorillaz, Ben Harper, The Kooks, Fat Freddy´s Drop, John Butler, Hindi Zarah, Nneka, Soha, Selah Sue, Manu Chao, Fela Kuti, Alt-J... Also like all kinds of multicultural stuff like Balkan, Electro Swing, (traditional and experimental) Latin music. At the last festival I absolutely fell in love with Cosmo Sheldrake. Bonobo, Nicolas Jaar. No 90ies please Films: Probably Gran Torino, La vita é bella, Rainman, Locke, Ciudad de Diós, Machuca, Moonlight, Fantastic Mr Fox, Moonrise Kingdom and other Wes Anderson's films. Some of my favourite authors: Roald Dahl, Michael Ende, Jonathan Safran Foer, Erich Kästner, Hermann Hesse, Terry Pratchett, Pablo Neruda I love love love The unbearable Lightness of being (not quite sure if that actually is the English title), The old Man and the Sea, Steppenwolf and (yes) Harry Potter

Some happiness? Friendship? And if that's not enough I could get us a bottle of wine or a cup of coffee... I would love to share my life with you for some days; I would like to give you a different point of view (mine) and get an insight into yours, a change of perspective, maybe that's the right expression. I would love to hear your stories... about you, about your home country - if you are a good story-teller I guess I would host you forever. I want to listen to your music and eat your food, and of course I will share mine with you.
