Hi, I’m Carlo. I’m 26 years old and working as an engineer in Philippines. Even when I was a child, I dreamed of going to different places and said to myself that I should travel when I have the capacity to do so, and in 2023 I had my first journey to South Korea, and that was my first international travel, and my first time to ride a plane. Hahah. I volunteer as a tour guide to foreigners and foreign friends who visit Manila and I also introduce my hometown to them. I also want them to experience what locals do in their daily lives, and sometimes explain why locals do it. I want travelers to feel safe and comfortable when they stay in my country, so I give some travel tips, and safety tips to avoid some unfortunate events.

I would like to find friends that has the same interest as I. I want to experience the culture of other people, and to share my culture too. I want to experience what locals do. It’s a good platform for cultural exchange and to make friends.

I like RnB, K-pop and other mellow music. I love Percy Jack and the Olympians, Heroes of Olympus, and I am Number Four series. I enjoy reading manga and watching anime too.

I’ve traveled alone in South Korea in 2023. It’s my first International trip, and stayed there for 11 days.

I’m learning other language (Japanese) but I find it hard and confusing most of the time, and I don’t have an opportunity to practice it aside from when traveling to Japan. I enjoy helping other english learners.

I like cooking, badminton, volleyball, and photography . I’m into games also but lately I just play Genshin Impact. I have read a number of novels too during my university years. These days, I guide foreigners to different tourist spots and to the places they want to visit around Manila. I bought first camera this 2024, and it would be an opportunity to have a photowalk while I am guiding you.
