MY JOURNEY In May 2023, I began a long journey through Europe and beyond, which will continue until April 2026. Along the way, I’ve visited more than 40 countries across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia: • Northern & Western Europe UK, Ireland, Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, France, Germany, Switzerland Sweden, Denmark, Norway • Southern Europe & Mediterranean Spain, Portugal, Italy, Vatican City, Greece, Malta, Cyprus • Central Europe Austria, Czechia, Slovakia, Hungary, Poland • Balkans (Southeast Europe) Bosnia & Herzegovina, Montenegro, Kosovo, Albania, North Macedonia, Bulgaria, Romania • Baltic States Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania • Middle East & Caucasus Turkey, Jordan, Israel, UAE, Iran, Egypt, Armenia, Georgia • Asia India, Singapore, Malaysia Every place has taught me something different — from hiking mountains in the Balkans, to wandering Middle Eastern bazaars, to feeling the cozy kindness of Northern European hosts. Before this journey, I spent about two years in the UK as an au pair and Helpx working holiday helper, which gave me many opportunities to live with locals and exchange cultures. Later, I completed my Master’s degree at Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh Scotland (2019). These experiences made me adaptable and comfortable with people from different cultures. WHAT I CAN SHARE • Stories and insights about Taiwan and Asian culture. • Travel stories from Europe, the Balkans, Caucasus and the Middle East. • A positive and respectful presence at home. TRAVEL STYLE I’m flexible when I travel. Sometimes I enjoy spending time with hosts, cooking or exploring together. Other times, I’m happy wandering alone and getting to know the vibe of a city. I try to adapt to the host’s rhythm and be considerate of their space. LOOKING FORWARD I truly appreciate the kindness of Couchsurfing hosts who open their homes and hearts to travelers.
