I joined originally because I needed to find somewhere to stay when I went to a 70th birthday party in Taunton just before Christmas, but I have been a member of similar sites, & used CampInMyGarden when I visited Stonehenge for the 2012 solstice and met some gorgeous kittens. I have also visited kind folk in Dundee, Newcastle, Worcester & Edinburgh in the UK, & Wellington, Lake Tarawera & Christchurch in NZ, & shared their houses. So, I know it's a great way to share experiences, & much nicer than a cold, lonely hotel.

I have Pitbull, Opera, Taiko, Celtic, Dance, & Folk CDs in the car & kitchen. I will go to the local cinema regularly, but my favourites are fantasy, SciFi, musicals & thrillers. I read most things, but have all Jane Austen's novels, most of Tolkein's, nearly all of Salvatore's Drizzt novels, & 39 of Terry Pratchett's. I am also eagerly awaiting George R R Martin's next one.
