Yoyo, I'm Thijs, a creative designer from the Netherlands, with a curious mind and a love for all things visual. Two of my passions, basketball and photography, come together in a project close to my heart called World of Hoops, where I photograph basketball courts around the world as a way to explore culture. If you’re curious, you can find it on IG @worldofhoops_ → https://www.instagram.com/worldofhoops_/ When I’m not traveling, I’m usually at home in the Netherlands, where I live with my partner and son. We’ve made our home in a cozy 1930s house, with stained glass windows and all. A place with a bit of soul and history in its walls. I’ve always had a soft spot for these charming, character-filled houses. Beyond design and photography, I enjoy meeting people from all walks of life. I believe everyone has a story worth sharing and I love hearing about places, perspectives and lives different from my own. Whether it’s swapping travel stories, discovering local food spots (huge fan of sushi, burgers and fries!) or just having a deep conversation over a drink (a cocktail, rum or whiskey for me). I’m all in. Other random things I’m into: movies and series, gaming, music, robots, toy guns (don’t ask!), and basically anything that lives on the internet. If you’re up for sharing stories, laughs, or a local adventure, I’d love to connect!

Dlaczego jestem na Couchsurfing
I love meeting new people from different cultures backgrounds. It's always way better to stroll around new places with locals, than being surrounded by tourists (that all doing the same thing).
Muzyka, filmy i książki
I love music in general and can listen to almost anything. But I have a preference to hip-hop, RnB, Reggaeton, Afrobeat. But I can also enjoy electronic or rock music.
