I’m from Belarus and I currently live in Poland. When I was living in Belarus, I never really traveled. But after moving to Poland, I started doing it regularly. I found exactly what had been missing in my life. Seeing new places, meeting people from different cultures, trying national dishes from other countries — it’s incredibly exciting. The world is so huge. I understand that many of you have visited 100 countries and travel may not feel like something extraordinary anymore. But for me, it feels like a blind person who has never seen light suddenly gaining sight. It’s breathtaking to realize how many different things exist in this world. Now I finally have life goals. Unfortunately, my English is still not very good, but I’m working on it.

Dlaczego jestem na Couchsurfing
I’m one of those people who doesn’t like to inconvenience others and usually prefers to book a hotel. But when I decided to go to France, I chose to change that habit. I took a chance to “see the light” again in a new way. People on Couchsurfing are amazing. They share their culture, give helpful advice, and in the end often become your friends. That’s really special ☺️
Muzyka, filmy i książki
I read a lot. Every single day. My favorite book is Martin Eden by Jack London. It influenced me more than any other book. Among writers, I love Jane Austen, Viktor Pelevin, and Yanka Kupala. Because of my profession, I watch a lot of films. Here are some of my favorites: Knockin' on Heaven's Door, The Prestige, The Hateful Eight, Rain Man, and Memento. I also love anime 😄 None of us is without sin.
Jedna niesamowita rzecz, którą zrobiłem/am
I visited Paris 😄 Haha, that question actually made me realize that maybe I should try to do something more interesting with my life.
Co mogę zaoferować Hostom
The most valuable thing people have is time 😄 I’m always curious how others answer this question. What do they offer in return? Youth, a soul, a heart… or maybe their firstborn child? I know, I probably should have said cookies. Just kidding. What I really offer is sharing my culture, good company, and a fun, positive vibe. Travelers are usually in a good mood anyway 😄
